Working at Height

Falls from height are among the most severe risks. We move beyond generic briefing and tie training to your platforms, scaffolding, ladders and fall-arrest systems—bringing PPE selection and permit-to-work to the floor.

How we treat the risk

Height risk cannot be managed with “be careful” alone. Training clarifies the fall-prevention hierarchy (eliminate, collective protection, personal systems), equipment checks and prohibited behaviours. The aim is sustainable safe work—not stopping the job.

Who is it for?

  • Teams using scaffolding, platforms, roofs and MEWPs
  • Maintenance, installation and construction crews
  • Permit-to-work / site supervisors
  • New hires who will work at height

Curriculum

  • Fall risk, legal frame and prohibited practices
  • PPE selection, donning, inspection and storage
  • Fall-arrest systems, anchor points and connection
  • Ladder, scaffold and MEWP safety
  • Permit-to-work, area control and rescue awareness

Field connection

  • Review of equipment and anchorage examples used on site
  • Warnings via incorrect setup / connection examples
  • Checklist and daily-inspection habit
  • Practical demonstration when a safe area allows

How we proceed

  • Map work-at-height tasks and equipment types
  • Prepare curriculum for the target group
  • Theory + site examples / practice
  • Attendance record and periodic refresher advice

Frequently asked questions

Is the same height training given to everyone?

No. Roof, scaffold or MEWP methods differ; content follows the method in use.

What this program delivers

  • Fall risk managed by method
  • Standard behaviour with PPE and systems
  • Content specific to site equipment
